Summer Time!

Hello Darlings! It's been a while, hasn't it? School's out, the mornings are late, and the weather...well, we'll skip that one.

It won't be too long till the vacations start. Not long at all for me! Tomorrow I leave for a cabin in the woods. I plan on having fun. No distractions, just me, nature, my paints, my music and...my family. Fun, right?

Cons: No internet and very poor cell service. Joy.

Ah well. I'll manage. I mean, perhaps it'll be a good thing for me to take a break from the internet. Get more involved in the world around me, that sort of thing. Anyway, the quiet of the woods should be nice.

I've got lots to do this summer, actually. Camping, and then later a trip to St. Louis for LIFE conference with my youth group, which should be a ton of fun. Speaking of fun, I'll be attending a fun. concert this summer as well as some other concerts too (hopefully)! Maybe even performing some songs myself. I'm also doing a summer gym program, so hopefully that will force me into shape.

What are your plans for the summer? Whatever you do, don't forget to make time for friends, and family, too.

Woah Long Time No Post

Oh hey! You're still there? Aw. Sorry! Now I feel bad! Hm...well...hm...how do I explain this absence? What could I possibly say to earn your forgiveness? What has stopped me from posting??

One word: school.
Ok, so it's not much of an excuse, I get that. I've just been so busy with school, musical, Ars Nova, Marching Band, and fandoms (I'll admit it, I've become a total fangirl) I just haven't had time to write. Oh yeah, I've been creative writing too, but that 's been an ongoing thing since like, 2011.
Soo, I guess the main point of this was to say HOPEFULLY I'll be posting more. Also, to outline what you could expect from the upcoming stuff.

  1. Random Stories: Life has a lot! So, hopefully I can say some of those.
  2. Book Reviews! It's summer reading time, and I'll hopefully be reviewing the books I read here.
  3. Fangirling. What can I say? It's the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who. Also Sherlock Series 3. Also The Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices. Maybe some more things too. Who knows? We'll see.
  4. Music stuffs. Maybe. No Promises.
  5. Maybe maybe MAYBE YouTube Videos. I don't know, so that's just a maybe. Like, small, minuscule maybe.
So yeah. No guarantees. We'll see, just some hopes of your's truly.

9/11

There's a lot of stuff going on, and I just thought I might acknowledge it. If you have the CNN special or can watch it anywhere, I would highly suggest it, and that's for getting a feel for what it was like that day.

Discovery Channel's website has a series on what they're doing now at Ground Zero: The Memorial and The  New Gateway and the Wedge of Light and Tower One and all that good stuff.

It makes me proud to be American when I see all of it. It really does. And yeah, you'll often hear me say I wish I was British, but..yeah, my country has it's perks, despite the fact that we still make pennies.

Doctor Who

I an officially addicted. YEP. I am. And if you don't get the reference, ^^^ is from Aslyum of the Daleks which is just O_o and AAHH and FYI: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship is FANGIRL CENTRAL. So yeah. Beware the fangirl.

PS Don't Blink

Petnames?

I don't really have much of a following on this. I know that cuz I've had this blog since July and it only has, like, 107 views.

But like, do I have anyone who reads what I have consistently? Like at all? and if you do, would you mind commenting on this post? You can comment as a anon user if you want. I don't need to know your name. Just if you're there.

And also, should I refer to you guys as something? Or just keep "you guys"? Because I don't want to assume you're all girls, or all guys, and yeah. And if you think I should give a nickname, what should it be?
OH! If you like what you read, please tell your friends. It would make me happy :D

K Thx Bai <3

PS Vlogging. Should I?

The Towns Were Paper (aka Why You Should Read Paper Towns)

So I just finished a most wonderful book by the most nerdfightastic John Green. It's called Paper Towns. It's about a boy named Quentin aka Q, though maybe it's about a girl named Margo. Either way, Q and Margo were best friends until they were 9, and the two of them found a dead body in the park. Their paths separated when 9 year old Margo walked towards the body and Q walked away. Now, in their Senior year, a month before graduation, Margo comes back into Q's life via window ninja roll, and then disappears the next day. This leads to the most glorious adventures of all adventures, and it's amazing. Like, super amazing. If you haven't read this book, I suggest you read it.

Of course since it's a YA novel, Q has loved Margo for forever, but that's not that important to the plot. Well, it kind of is, but it isn't. At the same time. Does that make sense? Probably not. Hmm....
